Tuition Fees The Master’s Program is subject to a tuition fee. The fee is € 4.500 for three semesters. Enrolment in the program, attendance and access to facilities and teaching materials including the internet platform for distance learning is dependent upon full payment of the applicable fee at the latest 3 months before the start of each semester. The fee for the Diploma and Certificate programs is € 3500 and € 1750 respectively. Scholarships and financial assistance Scholarships, stipends or other forms of financial assistance may be available in individual cases either from the Viadrina European University or from external sources. The Viadrina is willing to assist applicants in financial need wherever possible. We emphasise, however, that our financial resources are extremely limited, so that financial support directly through the Viadrina can be provided only in rare cases. Applicants in financial need are therefore very strongly advised to make their own efforts and enquiries (especially with relevant public institutions, NGOs, foundations and large private institutions in their own country). The Viadrina is willing to assist applicants to obtain financial support from external sources where it is able to do so, either by providing suggestions or through a letter of support confirming admission to the program. An application for direct financial aid from the Viadrina (including a possible fee discount) can be made at the same time as the application for admission. The decision on admission to the program is made independently of any request for financial support. The application for financial support is considered made only after a positive decision on admission to the program has been made. The decision on provision of financial aid is based on the financial resources available for this purpose at the time, the financial need of the applicant and the efforts which the applicant has made to obtain financial aid from other sources. Applicants for enrolment in the LLM program are encouraged to apply for a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Further information is available at www.daad.de. |
