Outline
- 18 months MA English-language programme
- unique inter-disciplinary postgraduate degree programme:
- offers the possibility of studying in two or three different European countries
- specific opportunity for experience learning, working and researching in the area of human rights and genocide prevention
- various academic settings and working contexts with several modules and a work experience module (internship) in the third semester to gain work experience and use the theoretical knowledge in real-life situations

- involving several European institutions and offering an international curriculum relating to design, scope and content
- directly concerned with the major issues and key questions of our time:
legal and institutional frameworks within which human rights have been conceptualised and developed; case studies in genocide and mass violence; where human rights are recognised and where they are violated; how human rights are guaranteed and protected; how and why genocide occurs and how it might be prevented and halted; and endeavours at humanitarian intervention - the knowledge and practical professional skills prepare for a range of career settings, such as:

- governmental organisations
- international, transnational and regional organisations
- commercial and not-for-profit companies
- universities and research institutions
